X 20 Cr 13 / 420 A / 1.4021 Aciers inoxydables martensitique
Un acier inox au chrome trempable sans soufre, apte au poli spéculaire, présentant une bonne usinabilité et soudabilité, une résistance élevée, pour autant que les pièces soient trempées et revenues et que la surface soit polie. Sa bonne résistance à l'action de l'eau douce et à l'érosion par la vapeur peut seulement être effectuée par transformation et trempe. Cette matière répond à l'industrie dentaire ou aux instruments chirurgicaux et médicaux coupants tels que pinces, pincettes. C'est un acier pour des instruments de bas de gamme.
